Crowns

1/22 Brien F. – Crowns
This patient came to us because he wanted to make sure his teeth were healthy, unfortunately he had a lot of work that needed to be done. And due to the fact that he had ground his teeth down we needed to open his bite up. The patient decided to go ahead with crowning each tooth in the mouth to give him the best possible result.

3/22 Valerie C – Crowns
This patient has been a long standing patient that had crowns done over 20 years ago at another office. Due to the fact that her previous crowns were porcelain fused to metal, we are unable to see the tooth on an xray and can’t determine if the crowns have any leakage. Unfortunately her upper left second tooth was getting bacteria under the crown and the tooth broke off at the gum line, she then needed an implant placed. The patient decided that because she is retiring in a few years she wanted to utilize her insurance to the full benefit and redo the other crowns to ensure she is in the best position possible in regards to her teeth for retirement.

4/22 Allyson – Dentures
Having completed her exploration of denture options, our patient delved into the realm of implant-supported solutions. This choice promised not only enhanced function but also elevated aesthetics.

This patient was very overclosed which was causing significant wear on all of her teeth, the team was seeing hairline fractures on many of her back teeth. This patient had generalized recession in the mouth as well as an edge to edge bite. We were able to prepare the teeth in such a way that we changed their bite, so it was no longer edge to edge for better chewing function. We also extended the crowns up to the gum line so they no longer had root structure showing. Our patient was extremely happy that they were able to chew properly and are no longer in pain.

This patient came to us with old fillings at the gum line that had fallen out and started to stain. They wanted their normal teeth back! We achieved this by placing crowns on all of the teeth that had old fillings. They had a bridge on the back teeth that were in good condition so we matched the shade to keep the colour consistent. Our patient was thrilled with the result!

This patient came in for a regular hygiene appointment, and it was seen that they had severe acid erosion on the back side of their top front teeth, some chipping occurring and food traps between their back molars . We were able to crown these teeth in order to make them strong again and fill in the spaces food was getting stuck in. Our patient is ecstatic with the results.
